If you have driven downtown Cherokee the last few
nights you will notice a nice change...........the
buildings are outlined in colored Christmas lights.
Not only that but there are beautiful white Christmas
trees lining the highway.
But.................we are running short of cash!
Several of you have already donated to this project
and if you are receiving this please dis-regard it.
Since we are not keeping a list of those who donated,
we don't know who you are.
If you haven't donated and would like to, there are
jars set up at the Cherokee Station, Cherokee Grocery
Store, Ice Cream Station and hopefully one will be
at Cherokee Feed Store by tomorrow.
This list has been combined with three different emails
lists so if you receive more than one email let me
know, or if you don't want to be on the list at all,
please reply to this email and tell me your desire.
If there is any money left over from this project
there are more in the making. Some wildflower seeds
have been planted and maybe more will be planted later.
It has been discussed to place some flower pots in
town.
There will be a community meeting in January to talk
about other ways to dress up our little village. So
if you want to help in the way of donations or work,
please let us know.
Thanks,
Sue Broyles
