Osiyo,
Osiyo
my friends! It's a beautiful Friday here in Tahlequah, and I hope the same goes
for your location.
With
the Cherokee National Holiday coming up (only 3+ months away!) Labor Day Weekend,
things are starting to settle down at the Cherokee Nation as we begin a bulk of
the preparations. So, this week we'll simply highlight a few events going on in
and around the Cherokee Nation.
The
Cherokee Heritage is accepting registrations for the Fifth Annual Cherokee Ancestry
Conference. This is a two day conference in June to be held in Tulsa, OK. This
should be a great event! So sign up now!!!

The
Cherokee Nation is still accepting applications for the Cultural Day Camp to be
held June 5h - June 30th in Tahlequah, OK. The Cultural Day camp is a great chance
for your kids to learn about the culture and heritage of the Cherokee people!

week we mentioned the Cherokee Casino Resort Oklahoma Golf Classic. We wanted
to remind you that they are still accepting entrants to this event. The winner
will represent Oklahoma in the Native American Cup to be held in Michigan in August
this year. Here's all the information you need to know:
